Season 2 Goes Live!

The second season of Gulf ProCar (GPC), by GulfSport Racing goes live.

Most know that GPC (in other forms) has been running for many years in the UAE, but with GulfSport Racing taking the reins last year, the series is going from strength to strength.

So, for this season the race schedule is expanded to 7 events (from 6 previously), meaning 14 races, starting in October at Yas Marina Circuit.

GulfPro Car continues to be the premier race series in the region for GT and Touring Cars. Again, we are expecting to see some of the countries fastest 2000cc Saloon cars, an exclusive class for the popular Clio Cup car, we continue our official licence agreement for TCR cars, also an expanded class for the latest GT4 & GT3 cars and Ferrari Challenge!

Series Coordinator Alex Jacobs:

“Last season was a bit of a leap of faith when GulfSport Racing decided to step forward to take control of Gulf ProCar. But really given their experience, it was fine and a great season. We are excited to build on that for this season, and have some exciting things in the pipeline.”

Last season saw 40 different drivers taking to the track with grids consistently over 20 cars. Teams commented after the season how they enjoyed the close racing, but friendly atmosphere of the racers and GulfSport Racing organisers alike.

Online entries are now open, and there is once again and Early Entry Offer. This is valid until the 15th August and can save up to AED 8,000 per season compared to entering on a race by race basis.
