Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo confirmed

First Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo confirmed with Khaled AlMarzouq

As the start of Gulf ProCar2023/24 season is approaching more entries are being confirmed and next in line is Kuwaiti driver Khaled AlMarzouq entering the exotic Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo run by Dragon Racing.

Khaled made his car racing debut last season at GPC Round 6 in Yas Marina Circuit making a strong statement by playing a dominant role in qualifying and race collecting overall wins or podium places.

Now he is ready to go for a full season and based on his previous results, he is a potential championship contender.

Khaled commented: “I am very happy being able to commit to Gulf ProCar for a full season. Really, based on last year’s race in Yas, people think I am the man to beat. I can confirm that this is a wrong assumption, I can’t complain how that race went but as a competitor I would have preferred to win every race. With the warmup, qualifying and three races it was an exhausting day full of racing but true that I managed well. But that’s the past and we start from a clean sheet and from what I understand other Ferrari drivers will also commit so it will be a challenging season. I wish all the best for my fellow competitors.”

First race of the Gulf ProCar season is at Yas Marina Circuit on 28 October 2023.

More driver announcements coming over the next few weeks.
